Roomwake keeps ringing until you leave the bedroom — persistence, not proof, except for the anchored room-proof mission, which actually measures it.
Support & help
Open Roomwake, set your wake time, and pick a mission — steps, floor-change, photo-of-place, or the paid room-proof mission. AlarmKit fires the alert even if your phone is silenced or in Focus.
Room-proof is the only mission that actually measures whether you left, rather than inferring it. It anchors to a Bluetooth device you already own in another room — a TV, speaker, or smart plug — so it needs that device to be permanently powered and advertising, not a phone or a battery gadget that turns off. During setup, stand in the target room and let Roomwake scan; it will refuse any device that isn't consistently visible, and tell you at setup, not at 6am, if nothing in that room can be used. If your home doesn't have a suitable device, use the steps, floor-change, or photo missions instead — they're free and always available.
Each mission needs a sustained signal, not a single reading — that's deliberate, so a lucky step or a stray Bluetooth blip can't dismiss the alarm by accident. Give it the full dwell window (about 20 continuous seconds for room-proof) before assuming something's wrong. If the room-proof anchor was switched off, moved, or out of range, Roomwake falls back to your backup mission automatically and will tell you the next time you open the app.
Press and hold the emergency dismiss control for 10 seconds. It's there for exactly this — illness, injury, anything that means you can't complete the mission. Every use is logged and shown to you the next morning so you can see it wasn't accidental.
